How To Design a Pinterest Graphic on an iPhone/ iPad

Hey guys! I’m really excited for today’s post because it is going to be how to create a Pinterest graphic on a mobile device! I know a lot of people use their computer and use either photoshop or Canva but I wanted to show a super simple way to make one on an iPhone!

Apps Needed:

Phonto: Free

Superimpose: $1.99

Step 1

Go over to Google (or whatever search engine you use) and search for the product that you’re looking for. I always make sure to have “HD” on also so they’re high quality pictures. Make sure to find one with a solid color background because that makes it a lot easier later on. Then just hold down on the picture once you click on it and save it.

*Also make sure you have a plain white background saved on your phone, or whatever color you would like*

Step 2

Open Superimpose and click on the button in the top left hand corner and import the plain white image which will be the background. You can crop it if you’d like but I’d recommend a tall skinny image for Pinterest. Then click ‘Choose’ in the bottom right hand corner.

Step 3

Import one of your products that you’d like using the same button in the top left hand corner but make sure you are importing for a foreground and not background. It should look like this once you do that.

Step 4

Next, go to the bottom and click on the ‘Mask’ button and then click on the magnifying glass with the plus sign in the middle. Now go to the column all the way on the right and use the magic wand (the third one down) and click the background. Now if it was perfect, it would make the whole background disappear and then just click on the magnifying glass again, go over to transform and move the product wherever you’d like. Click on the third button from the left on the top and then click merge. Now repeat this process by importing a foreground with all the different products. Rearranging them however you’d like.

Step 5

Now, most of the time it won’t be perfect and it will look a little something like this. I like to zoom in, using two fingers, and using the eraser tool (above the magic wand) I will slowly erase the part where it made a mistake. The closer you zoom in, the more precise it will get. If you make a mistake you can either undo it or use the wand (below the magic wand) to correct your mistake.

Step 6

Another option is to use the smart wand (below the wand). Which you can use also. This doesn’t always work the best but it is an option.

Step 7

When you’re all done just save it by going back to home and clicking the second button from the left and choosing ‘Photos’  from export destination.

Step 1

Import the photo and click on the picture to add text. If you want to use different fonts, add different texts and don’t type all of it at once.

Step 2

Choose the font, I download my own font (If you want a tutorial for that comment down below), and then you can also change the color by going to style. Then just choose the size as well.

Step 3

Select all of it (by holding your finger down and dragging over all of it, and select move and the arrows going horizontally to move it in the middle. Then just save it and you’re good to go!
